World Bank: Current Reforms in Egypt ‘Positive and Promising’

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at the World Bank (WB) Sri Mulyani Indrawati said on Sunday the current reforms taking place in Egypt are positive and promising.

The WB is committed to offering technical and financial support for Egypt during the coming stage, she said.

Her remarks came during a meeting with Minister of International Cooperation Naglaa el-Ahwany and Minister of Finance Hani Qadry.

The meeting took up plans to improve the Egyptian economy.
