Zero Carbon, Green Planet join forces to tackle waste gas

Zero Carbon Ventures, a leader in developing emission reduction technologies based in Abu Dhabi, declared on Wednesday a partnership with Green Planet for Sustainable Environmental Solutions in Egypt, an affiliate of Egyptian Special Group for Trading and Investment J.S.C

Zero Carbon Green Planet (ZCGP)’s innovative plans tackle a unique, patent-pending high-tech system developed by Zero Carbon Ventures.

This system addresses landfill waste gas and organic waste streams on an unmatched scale. The system transforms waste methane, a well-known greenhouse gas, and organic waste into profitable products like graphene, hydrogen, fertilisers, and other valuable commodities.

The first phase of the project landfill site will be up and running by 2025, reflecting ZCGP’s steadfast dedication to economic growth and climate change mitigation.

By 2027, this unique, advanced manufacturing process will be complete. It will employ around 250 people, handle 400 tons of organic waste daily, and prevent the release of thousands of tonnes of methane and CO2 into the atmosphere.
