140 Solar Plants In Bedouins’ Houses Inaugurated By MEET

The Middle East Engineering & Telecommunications (MEET) company inaugurated 140 solar power plants for the Bedouins’ houses in Sinai, which financed by the European markets.

Engineer Wael El Nashar, President & CEO, Middle East Engineering & Telecommunications (MEET(, said the plants attached to the houses suffice for generating power, adding that the houses supplied with plants are 130 kilometers far from main roads.

Relying on generating power from solar cells helps in providing the operating fees necessary for producing power and connecting electricity to nearly million beneficiaries, the CEO elaborated.

He explained that the company has equipment to illuminate the lighting columns without extending the infrastructure or increasing the rates of operating costs.
