30 June Protests Not To Impact Egypt’s Economy, FJP’s Official Says

Mohamed Gouda, Head of the Economic Committee at the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), said that the 30 June demonstrations would be peaceful and not to affect the Egyptian economy.

In exclusive statements to “Amwal Al Ghad”, Gouda said the tourism sector is one of the sectors that achieved good economic indicators during the last period; adding that it will play a significant role in attracting the US dollar resources.

The cash reserve, said Mohamed Gouda, is awaiting the loan of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the following foreign aid package in order to amount to $ 29 billion.

Getting the IMF’s loan has no relation with electing the parliament, said Gouda; expecting that Egypt may sign the loan during the coming period.
