Egypt, Singapore to launch 6 new ports in Suez Canal axis

The Egyptian Cabinet targets launching six new ports in Suez Canal axis in cooperation with Singapore, Investment minister Ashraf Salman said Monday.

By launching the six ports, Egypt seeks applying the Singaporean experience inside its ports within the upcoming period, Salman stated.

Minister Salman further added that the Egyptian government is currently working to overcome the challenges and obstacles that face investors notably those which are related to the infrastructure of industrial zones, licences in addition to logistics problems.
