Mongolia halts coal exports to China until March 2 on coronavirus outbreak concerns
Mongolia has decided to suspend deliveries of coal across its southern border into China until March 2, a move aimed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the country’s National Emergency Commission announced on Monday.
The commission also recommending the country halt its Tsagaan Sar Lunar New Year celebrations later this month.
Mongolia has not yet declared any cases of the coronavirus.
