Egypt’s Arab Contractors to build Alexandria University’s faculties in Chad

Egypt’s Arab Contractors on Monday signed an agreement with Alexandria University to build two faculties in the Chadian capital N’Djamena.

The agreement will see Arab Contractors building Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture as the first phase of a plan to build more faculties in the new campus in N’Djamena, said president of Alexandria University, Essam El Kordy.

Alexandria University’s relations with Africa began in the 1960s through its active cooperation with a number of African universities, El Kordy said, adding that the university offers 100 scholarships for the Nile Basin countries every year.

Mohsen Salah, chairman of Arab Contractors, has signed the agreement with El Kordy in the presence of Wael Nabil, Dean of Medicine Faculty at Alexandria University; and Ibrahim Mabrouk, Head of Africa Sector at Arab Contractors.
