Microsoft shut all of its retail stores due to coronavirus
Microsoft announced on Monday closing down all of its retail stores in response to the coronavirus outbreak worldwide, CNBC reported.
The U.S. tech giant has 82 retail locations worldwide with the majority of them in the United States.
Meanwhile, the company said it was keeping its online store open.
“With today’s recommendation from the United States government to not socially gather in groups of more than 10 people, we will be temporarily closing Microsoft Store locations — effective immediately,” Microsoft said in a statement.
