Global coronavirus cases have exceeded 3.5 million on Sunday, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
More than 247,000 people have died from the respiratory disease Covid-19, Hopkins University data added.
The U.S. reported the highest number of cases, with more than 1.1 million infections and over 67,000 deaths, Hopkins data showed.
Spain, Italy, the U.K., France, and Germany remain some of the worst-hit countries after the United States.
