Russia becomes the world’s second highest number of coronavirus cases
Russia is reporting the second highest number of coronavirus cases in the world, after the U.S., according to the latest data from Johns Hopkins University.
To date, Russia has officially recorded at least 232,243 confirmed infections and at least 2,116 deaths due to the virus, Hopkins University data added.
Tuesday was the 10th consecutive day for Russia to declare more than 10,000 new cases.
