Egypt records 659 new coronavirus cases on Friday

Egypt reported 659 new coronavirus cases on Friday, bringing the total infection tally to 91,072 since the outbreak began in mid-February.

The health ministry also reported 38 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 4,518.

The ministry also said 904 patients had been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 31,970.
