U.S. dollar exchange rate maintained its downward trend during transactions at Egyptian banks on Sunday, amid an increase in foreign currency inflows during the last weeks.
Dollar rate declined to 15.88 pounds for buying and 15.98 pounds for selling at 11 banks operating in the Egyptian market.
The 11 lenders include the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), Banque Misr, Bank of Alexandria, BLOM Bank, Al Mashreq Bank, the United Bank of Egypt, and Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait.
Last week, the dollar’s price stood at 15.92 pounds for buying and 16.02 pounds for selling.
