Egypt’s oil imports down 76.7% in April – CAPMAS
Egypt’s oil imports fell 76.7 percent to around $191 million in April from $819 million last year, according to the state-owned statistic agency CAPMAS.
Non-oil imports recorded about $6.179 billion in April against $4 billion during the same month in 2019, marking a decrease of 35.2 percent.
Petroleum exports registered around $121 million last April versus $453 million in April 2019, marking a drop of 73.3 percent.
As per non-oil exports, they reached $1.718 billion in April 2020, compared with $2.263 billion during the same month of 2019, with a decrease of 24.1 percent.
