Egyptian construction firm, Hassan Allam Holding said on Tuesday it has won a mandate to implement the design and construction works of a railway station in Bashteel, Giza governorate.
The project will be executed over 31,000 square metres within 36 months, upon which Bashteel station will become the new main railway hub serving various parts of Egypt, according to the company’s chief executive Hassan Allam.
The establishment of the railway station comes as part of the government’s efforts, represented in the Transport Ministry and the Egyptian National Railways (ENR) to develop transportation system in the country and reduce the burden on citizens, Allam added.
