Egypt’s stock exchange indexes close lower, EGX 30 falls 0.52% on Monday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended lower on Monday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index inching lower by 0.52 percent to 11.034 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) fell 0.55 percent to 1,868 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped lost 0.33 percent to 12,763 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 dropped 0.49 percent to 2,749 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 went down 0.21 percent to 2,008 points.

Total market capitalisation has incurred losses worth 3.2 billion Egyptian pounds ($203.04 million) to close at 614.165 billion pounds on Monday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Monday, the trading value has neared 2.16 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost reached 355 million securities executed over 37,000 transactions.
