Egypt targets $176m exports of dates over 3 years
Egypt is looking to increase the volume of exports of dates to $176 million over the coming three years, according to The Egyptian Food Export Council .
During the first half (H1) of 2020, Egyptian exports of dates reached $26 million.
In 2019, the country was 12th largest exporter of dates with a value of $44 million, accounting for 2.7 percent of the world’s total exports of dates, according to data released by the United Nations (UN).
