Ministry of Industry Licenses 22 New Factories

The ministry of industry and foreign trade announced its final approval and gave the necessary licences to establish 22 factories in the building materials sector at EGP 70 million investment cost, throughout the period from July 2011 till June 2012.

According to sources in the ministry of industry to Amwal Al Ghad, these factories annually produce EGP 65 million, provides 864 direct job opportunities, plus thousands of indirect job opportunities.

The building materials sector is witnessing a noticeable boom in the industrial construction processes; paving the way for making use of Egypt’s natural resources, especially in Sinai.
