Egypt builds EGP 5.4bn roads in Aswan during 2020

Egypt has built 85 road and transport projects in Aswan at a combined value of EGP 5.4 billion during 2020, the Governor Ashraf Attia said..

These projects include Kalabsha axis, scheduled to be inaugurated in the near future, and Draw and Aswan Reservoir Alternative Axes at a total cost of more than EGP 4 billion, Attia added.

In addition, the first phase of the desert road from Aswan to Idfu will be resumed at a cost of EGP 540 million and the re-pavement and development of Aswan-El-Alaki Valley road will be implemented at an estimated cost of EGP 600 million.
