Egypt’s stock market indices close lower, EGX 30 tumbles 0.92% on Sunday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed lower on Sunday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index falling 0.92 percent to 10,585 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) also tumbled by 1.44 percent to 2,026 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped dropped 0.71 percent to 12,802 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 edged down 1.21 percent to 2,938 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 plummeted 1.22 percent at 2,121 points.

Total market capitalisation has incurred losses worth 5.4 billion Egyptian pounds (around $347 million) to close at 633.055 billion pounds on Sunday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Sunday, the trading value has approximately reached 1.1 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 434 million securities executed 32,747 transactions.
