Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed in red on Thursday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index falling by 0.29 percent to 11,535 points.
EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) edged 0.08 percent lower to 1,983 points.
The all-embracing index, EGX 100 dipped by 0.02 percent to 2,991 points.

The country’s market capitalisation has incurred losses worth around 3.3 billion Egyptian pounds ($212.2 million), ending the trading at 725.833 billion pounds.
