Egypt’s Health Ministry launches Emergency scooter

Emergency electric scooter will speed up the ambulance service, according to the statement, of Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, official spokesperson for the Egyptian Ministry of Health, on Tuesday. The Health Ministry’s ambulance fleet also will incudes this scooter.

The “ambulatory scooter” shows the latest ambulance services provided to citizens. This scooter characterized by its speed, small size and ability to arrive in narrow places and streets. It aims to quickly ambulance the injured.

 

The driver has a first aid bag, Abdel Ghaffar highlighted. The scooter is environmentally friendly and works through electric charging.

It can work about 100 kilometres on a single charge, and does not release any exhaust at all.

The Scooter’s decision comes from Acting Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar. The idea of this ambulance scooter at the moment is in line with the directions of the state, which focus on the preservation of the environment. It also will be a part of the goals for the UN climate summit COP27, scheduled to be held in November in Sharm el-Sheikh, Mohamed Gad, head of the Ambulance Authority, pointed.
