Asian Markets Briefing 16/03/2023

The Asian markets fell on Thursday, after yesterday’s slight incline in a few of the indices. The Chinese main index SSEC dropped by -1.12 percent to 3,226.89, when it opened at 3,244.47. The index recorded a day high value of 3,257.43 and a day low value of 3,224.72.

Nikkei 225, Japan’s main index, dropped slightly by -0.8 to close at 27,010.61.The index opened at 26,796.67, recording a day high value of 27,057.54, and a day low value of 26,632.92.

Hong Kong’s main index HSI fell by -1.72 closing at 19,203.91. The index recorded a day high value of 19,388.77 and a day low value of 19,109.07.
