Asian markets briefing 10/05/2023

The Asian markets closed low on Wednesday with the Chinese main index, SSEC, falling by -1.15 percent to 3,319.15. The index lost 38.52 points, recording a day high value of 3,349.72 and a day low value of 3,305.25.

Nikkei 225, Japan’s main index, dropped by -0.41 percent to 29,122.18, losing 120.64 points. The index recorded a day high value of 29,195.16 and a day low value of 29,070.11.

HSI, Hong Kong’s main index, inched down by -0.53 percent and lost 105.38 points. The index closed at 19,762.20, recording a day high value of 19,880.03 and a day low value of 19,696.59.
