The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) and Zimbabwe’s Medicines Control Authority (MCAZ) have signed a MoU in which MCAZ can use the EDA’s procedures in the field of pharmaceuticals registration as a reference, EDA said on Saturday.
The EDA and MCAZ will both organise capacity-building and technical support activities under the MoU, as well as allowing the MCAZ to register its locally manufactured pharmaceuticals at the EDA to be traded in Zimbabwe.
The MoU will open a door to Egyptian pharmaceuticals to access the Zimbabwean and the entire African content.
