Asian markets briefing 02/06/2023

The Asian markets closed high on Friday with the Chinese main index, SSEC, rising by 0.79 percent and gained 25.43 points to 3,230.07.

Nikkei 225, Japan’s main index, soared by 1.21 percent to 31,524.22, gaining 376.21 points.

HSI, Hong Kong’s main index, inched up by 4.02 percent and gained 733.03 points to close at 18,949.94.
