NCW to establish museum of Egyptian Women Heritage

The National Council for Women (NCW) announced on Saturday the establishment of a museum to preserve the heritage of Egyptian women.

The museum will depict the lives and achievements of Egyptian women throughout history as well as enable gender equality through education.

Maya Morsy, President of the NCW, said in an interview on Saturday that the heritage of Egyptian women deserves to be documented.

She also highlighted the fact that the Egyptian civilisation is “a civilisation of queens and empowerment.”
