Oppenheimer premieres in Paris

Oppenheimer premiered in Paris on Tuesday with the presence Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, and Robert Downey Jr, according to Variety magazine.

The grand premiere of the movie took place at the Cinema Le Grand Rex in the city of love.

Christopher Nolan, the movie’s director, warned the audience during the premiere that the three-hour historical epic is “an intense experience, it’s a serious subject, but it’s something we pulled our hearts into.”

The movie tells the story of Dr J. Robert Oppenheimer, who is known as the father of the atomic bomb.

The movie is an adaptation of the 2006 book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.

The book details Oppenheimer’s personal life and his time in the Manhattan Project in the early and mid-1940s.

During the premiere Blunt cut an elegant figure with a glamorous 1940s green satin gown with padded shoulders and a collared neckline. She also wore a pair of silver pointed stilettos and droplet Anita Ko earrings.
