Meta’s social media app Threads has reported a nearly 70 percent decline in the number of daily active users, since its launch on July 6, according to Sensor Tower, a market intelligence firm.
Threads has daily active users tally of 13 million, down from 44 million on July 7, a Forbes report said. Therefore, the app’s average daily time spent by users is just four minutes, a steep decline from 19 minutes on its launch day.
Meta’s Twitter alternative clinched the title of becoming the fastest-growing app in history, surpassing ChatGPT, with over 100 million active accounts on the app within five days of its release.
