Egypt: QNB Al Ahli records 55.1% increase over 3 months

Qatar National Bank Al Ahli (QNB ALAHLI) has announced on Sunday its profits that jumped in Egypt by 55.1 percent to 3.95 billion Egyptian pounds during the second quarter of 2023, up from 2.54 billion pounds for the comparative quarter last year.

The net income during the three months ending in June rose by 56.3 percent to 7.27 billion pounds compared with about 4.64 billion pounds for the corresponding period a year earlier.

The bank added that the value of loans and facilities granted to customers reached 236.3 billion pounds by the end of June, while the value of deposits increased to more than 460.5 billion pounds.
