Egypt, Sweden discuss cooperation in water sector

Egypt and Sweden are discussing cooperation in the water sector, said Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Sewilam on Tuesday.

The minister met the Swedish Minister of International Development Cooperation Johan Forssell to bolster cooperation in a number of water fields in the coming period.

The ministry’s statement said that cooperation could be achieved by providing Egypt with technical support in multiple water areas.

It worth mentioning that the meeting was held during the World Water Week event held in Sweden.
