Egypt to operate direct flight route with South Korea

Egypt is set to operate direct flight routes between Cairo and South Korea to increase cooperation with the East Asian country, according to an official statement on Thursday.

The announcement came during a meeting between the Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas and the South Korean Ambassador to Cairo Kim Yong-Hyun to enhance cooperation in the civil aviation sector.

Abbas said that the flight line is seeking to push forward two-way tourism and trade. The ministry is seeking to boost ties with South Korea through exchanging expertise and supporting investment cooperation plans.
