Egypt’s Suez Canal makes historic record of $1mln revenues in one hour

Egypt’s Suez Canal recorded one million dollars revenues in one hour, in a historic never seen before record, reported a local news website on Monday.

The Canal witnessed significant development amid allowing for increased navigation by widening and deepening the Canal.

These developments have also allowed the Canal to have an increased capacity of ships, with 107 ships passing through the Canal in March.

The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) announced a historic record of revenues of $9.4 billion in the current fiscal year so far.
