A 6-year-old Palestinian boy stabbed to death in Illinois

A six-year-old Palestinian boy was stabbed to death by a 71-year-old man from Illinois, in anti-muslim hate crime, on Sunday, US authorities said.

The murder killed the boy and injured his mother who is currently in critical condition.

Will County Sheriff’s Office said that the 32-year-old mother and her 6-year-old son, were found with multiple stab wounds to their chest, torso and upper extremities, inside a residence in the unincorporated Plainfield Township outside of Chicago.

The victims were taken immediately to the hospital in serious condition, with over a dozen stab wounds to the mother’s body.

The boy was pronounced dead at the hospital, and according to an autopsy, the boy was stabbed 26 times.
