Projectile falls in Egypt’s Nuweiba

A projectile fell in the Red Sea resort town of Nuweiba, two Egyptian security sources told Reuters on Friday.

According to the sources, authorities are still investigating and gathering more information on the incident.

The projectile fell in a desert land in the town, the sources added.

Reuters also said that a witness reported hearing a loud explosion and seeing clouds of dust at a distance.

Late Thursday night, a rocket was launched on Egypt’s Taba city, injuring six people.
The two incidents are still under investigation.
