WHO delivers aid to Gaza’s Al Shifa hospital in joint UN mission

The World Health Organisation (WHO) announced on Sunday it delivered aid to Gaza‘s Al Shifa Hospital in a joint United Nations mission.

The aid convoy aims to help in assessing the situation at the hospital.

They delivered medicines and surgical supplies, orthopedic surgery equipment, and anesthesia materials and drugs to the hospital which was “currently minimally functional,” the statement added.

The Israeli aggression on Gaza killed more than 18,800 civilians and there are more than 7,000 still lost under the rubble.
