Swiss Lindt & Sprüngli sales rise by 10.3%

Switzerland’s Lindt & Sprüngli achieved a sales growth of 10.3 per cent in 2023, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.

The company said it recorded sales worth 5.20 billion Swiss francs ($6.06 billion) in 2023.

Lindt also announced that its index soared by around five per cent, in the highest ever increase in one day since July 2022. The company also said it sought to increase its organic sales in 2024 by around six to eight per cent.

The chocolate making giant also aims to increase its operating profit margin by around 20-40 basis points. It is also set to announce an operating profit of around 15.5 per cent in its full-year results for 2023 by March fifth 2024.
