Egypt approves $614.3m loan deal from AMF

Egypt approved a $614.3 million loan agreement with the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) for the seventh Structural Adjustment Facility, according to presidential decree no. 473 of 2023 published in the Official Gazette on Thursday.

The decree is subject to ratification conditions and requires approval from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the House of Representatives, the statement added.
