Suez Canal Authority launches ‘Egypt’ tugboat factory
Egypt’s Suez Canal Authority inaugurated ‘Egypt’ tugboat building factory at the Red Sea Southern Shipyard in Safaga on Tuesday, according to the Authority statement. This comes as a result of the partnership agreement between the Suez Canal Authority and the Red Sea Southern Shipyard.
The factory, which spans an area of 9,000 square metres, is divided into three main sectors: cutting, shaping, and building, and is equipped with the latest global technology for building various marine units.
