China allocates 200m yuan for flood relief

China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has allocated 200 million yuan ($28.05 million) from the central budget to support disaster relief and recovery efforts in flood-stricken Hunan and Jiangxi provinces.

These funds will be directed towards the emergency restoration of critical infrastructure damaged by the floods, including schools, hospitals, and flood control facilities, according to the NDRC.
