Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Thursday.
The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.19 per cent, to 28,466.24 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, jumped by 0.14 per cent to 2,756.2 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 surged by 0.25 per cent, to 6,314.83 points.
The index, EGX100 index climbed by 0.24 per cent, to 9,149.65 points.
The total market cap reached 1,920,826,008,538 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with a total of 10,597,852,611 Egyptian pounds, and 114,421,859 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, the Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with 10,712,274,470 Egyptian pounds.
Risers on Thursday
- The shares of Delta For Printing & Packaging (DTPP.CA) rose by 19.59 per cent, to close at the price of 42.360 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Ceramic & Porcelain (PRCL.CA) climbed by 9.36 per cent, to trade at the price of 10.280 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool (GTWL.CA) jumped by 6.79 per cent, to the purchasing price of 26.100 Egyptian pounds a share.
Fallers on Thursday
- The shares of GTEX For Commercial And Industrial (GTEX.CA) fell by 9.30 per cent, to close at 0.039 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Concrete Fashion Group For Commercial& Industrial Investment (CFGH.CA) declined by 6.56 per cent, to close at 0.057 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Wadi Kom Ombo Land Reclamation (WKOL.CA) dropped by 6.08 per cent, to close at the price of 98.190 Egyptian pounds a share.
