Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed mixed on Monday, with the main index, EGX30 going down by 0.55 per cent, to 30,731.98 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 rose 0.23 to 2,966 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 added 0.38 per cent, to 7,114.09 points.
The index, EGX100 index fell by 0.47 per cent, to 10,196.81 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 2,109,187,789,415 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with 376,680,471 Egyptian pounds, and 673,215,655 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were buyers with 1,049,896,127 Egyptian pounds.

- Shares of Alexandria National Company for Financial Investment (ANFI.CA) soared by 19.63 per cent, closing at the price of 19.560 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of AJWA for Food Industries Company – Egypt (AJWA.CA) climbed by 17.14 per cent, closing at the price of 84.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of A Capital Holding (ACAP.CA) jumped by 13.22 per cent, closing at the purchasing price of 1.970 Egyptian pounds a share.

- Shares of El Kahera Housing (ELKA.CA) dived by 7.23 per cent, closing at 2.180 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of North Cairo Mills (MILS.CA) sank by 5.96 per cent, closing at 38.050 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Alexandria Flour Mills (AFMC.CA) plunged by 5.63 per cent, closing at the price of 28.180 Egyptian pounds a share.
