Banque Misr plans to launch new retail banking products in its branches in United Arab Emirates in the next two months, said Mohamed Abbas Fayed, vice chairman of the bank.
The bank targets to offer banking products that will cater to the needs of the 350,000 Egyptian expatriates in UAE, he added.
The vice chairman stated that the bank will offer three products which are the personal loan, car loan and credit cards.
The bank targets to expand in offering SME financing products in its five branches in UAE to serve Egyptian expats. Fayed ruled out increasing the number of the bank’s branches in UAE in the current period.
