ADNOC, IndianOil sign 15-yr LNG agreement

ADNOC has signed a 15-year Heads of Agreement with IndianOil for the supply of 1 million metric tons per annum (mmtpa) of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The announcement came during a high-level meeting between UAE and Indian leaders in New Delhi.

The LNG will be sourced from ADNOC’s lower-carbon Ruwais LNG project. This agreement underscores ADNOC’s commitment to supporting India’s energy needs and enhancing the UAE-India energy partnership.

Additionally, ADNOC has entered a strategic framework agreement with Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserve Limited (ISPRL) to extend their existing oil storage arrangement.
