Libyan government plans to tender the construction of 60 wastewater treatment plants, according to a senior official at the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Authority in Libya.
Speaking at the ninth edition of Builders of Egypt on Sunday, Ahmed El Deb – Head of Studies and Designs Department – said the projects are part of Libya’s broader efforts to modernise its infrastructure, including water, electricity, oil, and sewage systems.
El Deb highlighted the opportunities for international companies, particularly Egyptian firms, to participate in these major infrastructure development projects. He expressed confidence in Libya’s stability and progress, emphasising the potential for long-term collaboration in the region.
