Japan’s service producer price index up in August ’24

Japan’s Services Producer Price Index (SPPI) increased 2.7 per cent in August 2024 from the previous year, according to a latest data released by Bank of Japan (BOJ).

Meanwhile, Japan’s SPPI, excluding international transport, also rose to 2.7 per cent compared to the same period in the previous year, the report added.
