CBE: Egypt’s financial stability index surges to 0.44 in March ’24

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) reported on Wednesday a significant improvement in Egypt’s financial stability index, rising from 0.34 in March 2023 to 0.44 in March 2024.

This positive development was attributed to stronger performance in the banking sector and financial markets, and improved macroeconomic and relatively global economic climate indicators.
