EGP sees uptick vs. USD in early trade

The Egyptian pound (EGP) experienced a slight increase against the US dollar (USD) in most banks as trading commenced on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

The National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, and the Commercial International Bank (CIB) set their rates at EGP 48.51 for buying and EGP 48.61 for selling. Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt listed the rates of EGP 48.51 for buying and EGP 48.61 for selling.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) offered rates of EGP 48.56 for buying and EGP 48.65 for selling. The Arab African International Bank posted rates of EGP 48.52 for buying and EGP 48.62 for selling.

QNB ALAHLI provided rates of EGP 48.52 for buying and EGP 48.62 for selling.
