Putin: BRICS grain exchange could become full-fledged commodity exchange

Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed on Wednesday that the BRICS grain exchange, initially suggested by Russia, could evolve into a full-fledged commodity exchange.

Speaking at the BRICS summit’s extended-format session in Kazan, Putin highlighted the potential for this transformation, emphasising the strategic importance of such an exchange for BRICS member countries.

This initiative aims to enhance economic cooperation and strengthen the commodity trading framework within the BRICS alliance.
