The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), the Number One Bank in the UAE, is lead sponsor of the UAE Global Investment Forum to be held on Wednesday March 21st, 2012, in Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.
The speakers and panelist at the Forum will focus on the outlook for global and regional markets, and the opportunities for foreign investors in Abu Dhabi, especially as worries over US and Euro zone rises and the balance of economic power shifts to the emerging markets and commodity-rich nations. The Forum will bring together high profile global investors, business leaders and financiers with Abu Dhabi’s key decision-makers.
NBAD officials will offer their professional expertise in the debates and discussions. Michael Tomalin, the Group Chief Executive of NBAD, will address the “Outlook for the UAE;” and Chavan Bhogita, the Head of Market Strategy at NBAD’s Financial Markets Division will participate in a panel titled “are the Fundamentals Strong Enough in Regional and Local Markets?”

NBAD recently concluded the fourth annual Global Financial Markets Forum, which draws yearly hundreds of investors and high profile speakers to Abu Dhabi. This year’s invitees included Paul Volcker, former chairman of the US Federal Reserve System ; and Axel Weber, former president of Deutsche Bundesbank, the German Central Bank.
