Bitcoin surpasses $100,000 in early trade
Bitcoin surged 3.94 per cent on Thursday, reaching $102,639.06 at 2:49 am ET (7:49 pm GMT), fuelling optimism among investors. Experts told TASS that Bitcoin could surpass the $100,000 mark in the coming days and potentially rise as high as $300,000.
Several factors are driving this increase in cryptocurrency prices. Analysts point to US President-elect Donald Trump’s ambitious plans to establish the United States as a global cryptocurrency hub and reassess the regulatory stance of the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Additionally, Bitcoin and stablecoins are being viewed as defensive assets amid geopolitical uncertainties, further boosting investor interest.
